Robert “Bob” Mckinley

Robert L. McKinley, 87, of 145 Kimble Road, Vestal, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Lourdes Hospital. Bob was born to the late Stephen and Iris McKinley on November 4th, 1930 in Minoa, NY. He served in the United States Marine Corps, and later worked for IBM Corp in Endicott, retiring in 1992. Bob enjoyed golf, fishing, and outings with his family. He was a member of the St Andrew’s Choir and the Binghamton Downtown Singers. He was an active member of Saint Andrew’s Anglican Church in Endicott. Bob married Ruth L. (Panzlau) McKinley on December 1, 1951 and was her loving husband for 66 years. In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by son David McKinley and wife Beth of Vestal NY, son Steven McKinley and wife Donna of Mt. Airy MD, brother Richard McKinley and wife Mary of Vestal NY, and sister Margaret Sauro and husband Joe of Mattydale NY. He is also survived by grandsons, Justin, Nelson, and Ian McKinley, as well as great-grandson River McKinley, niece Carol Casselman, and several other nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his sister Grace (McKinley) Cramer, and his brother John McKinley.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 11 am at St. Andrew’s Church 400 West Wendell Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends at church Monday from 10 am until service time at 11 am.
