Rosalie B. Bronner

It is with broken hearts, we share the passing of Rosalie Bronner, 79, of Endicott, NY, being called home to be with her Lord and Saviour, where her earthly journey has ended, but her eternal life has begun.

Rosalie is pre-deceased by parents John and Stella (Suby) Spisak, her sister Josette Eramo, her two brothers, Bob Spisak and John Spisak III, and half-sister Joyce Henneman.

She is survived by her three daughters Lisa (Nino) D’Angelo, Nicole (Andrew) Wagner and Jennifer (Jorge) Bardalez. She also leaves behind many grandchildren; Brianna (Connor) Waslinak, Nicholas (Eliza) D’Angelo, Michael D’Angelo, Taylor (Pablo) Castillo, Riley Swartz, Ethan and Logan Bardalez, two great granddaughters Isla Castillo and Julianna D’Angelo. She is also survived by her sister Deborah (Earl) Quackenbush and many nieces and nephew, Carrie Quackenbush (Pat Lake), Ashley (Allen) Fernandez, Lindsay Garrison, Tina Eramo, David (Christine) Eramo, Denise Henneman (Gregory Houseknecht), and Brenda Langdon.

Rosalie (Rose/Rosie) was born, raised, and built her entire life in Endicott, NY. She devoted her life to being the most fiercely loving mother and grandmother and also had great love and commitment for helping children and being a caregiver that paved her life long career. She worked as the director of the Pre-School and “Tot” gymnastics program at Southern Tier Gymnastics Academy (STGA) in Endwell for nearly 15 years and then carrying this on at Arrow Gymnastics in Owego for several more years. Rosalie then pursued her passion for helping children by becoming a trained and certified Community Support DSP through HCA – Helping Celebrate Abilities in Binghamton NY. Through HCA she was committed to one family; loving and caring for a young boy with autism and other special needs until he reached adult transition age after which she retired. Every family whose children were part of her classes or under her care in any capacity, absolutely loved “Rosie’s spirited energy" and all the love she poured into them every single day.

During these years, Rosalie also became a full-time caregiver for over 20 years to her brother John-John who had Down Syndrome until his passing July 2025. She shared in the guardianship of John-John with her sister, Deborah, both giving unconditional love and helping him achieve all of his amazing and successful accomplishments he had throughout his whole life.

Rosalie had some personal passions, but the greatest was her family. She was a fierce protector of her family and loved them unconditionally. She also had an amazing green thumb and her love for gardening, planting flowers and growing herbs or vegetables showed in every harvest. She absolutely loved cooking, recipe sharing and took great pride in her Polish heritage, being able to cook amazing Polish cuisine. Rosalie was a faithful parishioner at St. Casimir’s Church in Endicott from her baptism until its closure in 2013 then became a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Endicott in the years since. Her children are eternally thankful for her always showing them what it means to be a follower of Christ. To being a part of a church community, to pray, to love God and to share His love with others.

Though our hearts are broken by this great loss, we find comfort that she is in peace, walking the “Streets of Gold, and that we will be reunited with her when we meet again in Heaven. Until then, we will miss her terribly and she will remain in our hearts forever.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 15, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Church, 207 Hayes Avenue, Endicott, NY at 10:00 AM. The family will receive attendees at 9 AM prior to Mass.
