Rose Marie Keast

Rose Marie (Poltanis) Keast, 94, entered her Heavenly Home on March 28, 2025, to join her husband, Homer, parents (William & Julia), and family that predeceased her.

She was born and raised in rural Waymart, PA. Rose married Homer in 1951 and moved to New York and lived in Vestal for over 70 years.

She leaves behind her loving family: daughter, Karen Lee Peloke, son, Kenneth (Karen) Keast, cherished granddaughters, Rachel (James) Fenney, Amanda (Kyle) Colunio, and precious great-grandsons, Henley and Knox Colunio, as well as nieces and nephews.

Rose was a naturally gifted artist and designed many special handcrafted items with Homer.

A family memorial and burial at Canaan Corners Cemetery, Waymart, PA, will take place at a future date.
