Rose Sullivan

Rose M. Sullivan, 78, passed away with peace and dignity on Thursday, September 13, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband of 21 years Michael Sullivan and sister Katie Schubert. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Carol Murphy; grandson Brandon Murphy, granddaughter Jenna (Macdowall) Murphy and husband Kevin Macdowall; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Arlene and Joe Reynolds, Pat and Pete Eckert, Bernice Bulat, and Gloria Magnetti; two brothers, John Rudden and Peter (Butch) Bulat; and many nieces and nephews. Rose spent most of her life in the Bronx and Bronxdale, N.Y. working in the restaurant business. She treated all her customers like family and over the years many became good friends. Rose enjoyed spending time with family and took great pride in her grandchildren and their accomplishments. Later in life she was fortunate to accompany her sisters Katie, Arlene and Pat on numerous adventures and cruises. Rose will be remembered most for her caring nature and positive outlook. The family would especially like to thank the staff at United Methodist Homes Skilled Nursing Unit and Sun Unit for the excellent care they provided.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 22 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 West Main St., Endicott, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held at the church immediately following.
