Rudy C. Pisani, 96, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2026.
Born on November 12, 1929 in Endicott, New York, Rudy was the son of Bruno Pisani and Vincenzina (Sergi). He lived a long and full life defined by his devotion to his family, faith, and community.
Rudy proudly served his country during the Korean War era with the U.S. Army. Following his military service, he built a long career with IBM. He was also a devoted member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, where he served his parish as an usher for many years.
Family was at the center of Rudy’s life. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Louise (Nirchi); his sons, David and Rudy Pisani; his parents; and his siblings, Rose Massara, Joesph Pisani, Yolanda Cerasaro, Lillian Bystricky, and Anita Fiorini.
In the years following the passing of his beloved wife, Louise, Rudy was fortunate to find companionship again with his longtime companion, Helen Hlopko, who held a special place in his life.
Rudy will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Marie, Michael, and Christian Pisani, with whom he shared an especially close and meaningful bond; his sister-in-law, Patricia Alfieri; and his many nieces and nephews. He was particularly grateful for Joseph and Fran Massara, and Roseanne Tyler, whose love, care, and support meant so much to him during his later years.
After 96 years, Rudy leaves behind a lifetime of memories, traditions, and stories. His family will remember not only the long and full life he lived, but also the love, strength, and devotion he showed throughout it. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 am, Tuesday, November 10, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 300 Odell Avenue, Endicott.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rudy’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.
