Sanford Oney

Sanford E. ” Sandy” Oney, 63, of Vestal passed away suddenly at home Wednesday October 11, 2017. He is predeceased by his parents, Emmett and Elizabeth Oney; son, Sandy Oney. He is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Lynne Oney; previous wife, Rebecca Oney; children, Jennifer (Thomas) Scott, Daniel Raub, Brian Johnson, David Wadsworth, Alicia Benjamin; daughter-in-law, Shannon Reese; several grandchildren; dear friend who was like a sister to Sandy, Jennifer Conibeer. Sandy was a member of the American Legion SAL, enjoyed shooting pool in his pool league, spending time at his cottage on Seneca Lake, but his real passion was working as a sound engineer traveling the country working with bands. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11 am at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday from 10 am till service time at 11 am.
