Scott Tillotson, 65, of Endicott, N.Y., passed away on March 8, 2025 after a brief battle with Castleman disease.
He was predeceased by his father, Ronald Tillotson; his mother, Carol Miller; and his brother, Jim Tillotson, and his brother-in-law, Frank M. Scalzo Jr., sisters-in-law Anne and Barbara Tillotson
He is survived by his wife, Donna Tillotson; daughter, Amy Tillotson (Tim); son, Scott Tillotson Jr. (Chris); grandchildren, Bella Tillotson and Jackson Tillotson; his brothers, John Tillotson (Dorn) and Mike Tillotson (Karen); step-sister, Kim Dean; step-mother, Diana Tillotson; sister-in-law, Margaret Scalzo; and several nieces and nephews for whom he held great affection.
Scott was a dedicated worker, retiring from the New York State Department of Transportation. He was also a proud business owner, having operated Tillotson’s Appliance Service and a Maytag appliance store on Washington Avenue in Endicott for several years.
Beyond his career, he cherished his fly-fishing trips to the Chateaugay River and found joy in his visits to Atlantic City.
He will be remembered for his hard work, his willingness to help anyone, and his sense of humor.
Funeral Services will be held 11 am, Friday, March 14 at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Friday, March 14 from 10 am until service time at 11 am.
