Steve Hermanovitch, 72, of Endwell, NY, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Born of Steve Hermanovitch and Elsie (Petrick) Hermanovitch of Sturges, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Archbald High School and Johnson College, Scranton, Pennsylvania. He was a long time employee of Universal Instruments Corporation. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Sharon Ann (McHale) Hermanovitch and his parents. He is survived by his son Steven Hermanovitch of Port Crane, New York; his daughter Lisa Marie Konchar and her husband Anthony Konchar; and son Michael Cory Hermanovitch of Endwell, New York; his granddaughter Emily Noel Hermanovitch of Port Crane, New York; and Lily Mae (Hermanovitch) Beardsley and her husband Daniel Beardsley of Binghamton, New York; and his grandson David Michael Hermanovitch and his wife Katie Joy (Lanz) Hermanovitch of Endicott, New York; and an aunt, uncle, and several cousins. As a youth, he was a member of Saint Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church in Olyphant, Pennsylvania; as an adult, he was a longtime member of First Assembly of God in Binghamton, New York.
A memorial service in his honor will be held at the Allen Memorial Home, located at 511 E. Main Street in Endicott, New York on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 12 pm. Calling hours for relatives and friends will immediately precede the service between 10 am and 12 pm. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Lourdes at Home and The American Lung Association.
