Theresa Tylawsky

Theresa Tylawsky passed away on November 1, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband David Tylawsky; her parents, Cataldo and Josphine Salvino; her sisters, Lucy Naro, Stella Rice, Marie Pazzaglia; and her brother, Salvatore Salvino; all of Dunmore, PA. She is survived by her daughters; Theresa James and son-in-law Robert James; Lucy Armezzani and son-in-law Gregg Armezzani. She was a loving grandmother to Maura Armezzani, Krista Esken and her husband Bryan, and a loving great grandmother to Jacob Esken. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Dunmore, PA, Theresa was a member of the Church of the Holy Family in Endwell, NY. Theresa enjoyed spending time with her friends and family playing games and beating everyone at “Scoop”. We were grateful to have had her as a mother and grandmother. She showed her family love, laughter, sacrifice, and very often, words of wisdom that left us with many memories. Devoted to her faith and family, Theresa will be missed on earth but we are comforted knowing that she is beginning Eternal Life in Heaven. The family would like to thank her good friend Antoinette Noce and the staff at James G Johnson (Hilltop) Nursing Home for all the wonderful care and friendships.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10:30 am at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell. Entombment will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton, PA, Tuesday a 2:30 pm. The family will receive friends at church Tuesday from 9:30 am until Mass time at 10:30 am.
