Thomas “Tom” Bendert

Thomas E. Bendert, 88, of Endicott, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents Edward and Lena, a sister Theresa and brothers Joseph and Paul. He is survived by his beloved wife Ginny and a brother Edward (Trish) Bendert; sons Thomas (Cathy), Michael (Nico Nitto) and David (MaryBeth) Bendert; daughters Katherine Bendert Mieczkowski, Anne (Junie) Williams and Sue (Kim) Little; grandchildren Jackie (Marc), Jessica (Eric), Katelyn, Mark, Hannah (Sam), Sarah, Josh (Erin), Andrew (Lindsey), Eric and Janelle; great grandchildren George, Benjamin, Brooks, Tommy and Mia. He was a beloved Uncle to his niece and nephews.
He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott and a retired I.B.M. Corp. employee. Tom was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer and bowler, but his greatest enjoyment was time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 31st, at 10 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
