Vincent J. Mondelli, 87, of Endicott NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 6th, 2025. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Frank and Carolyn Mondelli.
Vincent graduated from Scranton Central High School and went on to earn his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Scranton. He was a teacher for 35 years. He spent 2 years as a Math teacher in Maryland and 33 years teaching English at Vestal Central High School.
He is survived by Martha, his wife of 63 years, their three children: Christine (Rachel) Mondelli, Lisa (Robert) Herbik, Vincent (Lisa) Mondelli; 2 grandsons: Dr. Max Herbik, and Noah Mondelli, a sister-in-law, several nieces, cousins, and friends.
Interment will take place at Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
