Walter Heine

Walter Heine, age 80, of Endicott, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Valleyview Nursing Home in Norwich, NY. He was predeceased by his parents as well as several other family members. He is survived by three very close friends, Jeffery Jeffords, Pam Bowers, and Bernie Massis. Walter was known locally as an expert trapper and was a member of the Tioga County Trappers Association. He provided bait to many bait and tackle shops in the area, primarily Bernie’s Bait and Tackle Shop in Westover, Johnson City. Walter was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Funeral and Interment Services will be held Wednesday at 1 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal, NY at a later time. Friends will be received at the Allen Memorial Home Wednesday from 12 pm until service time at 1 pm.
