William “Bill” Chwalow

William (Bill) Chwalow, 90, of Endicott, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016. He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Doretta and brothers James and David. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Doris; a son Daniel (Christine) Chwalow; step sons Gerald (Carol) Vanderlinde and Michael (Linda) Vanderlinde and a sister Doanne (Ronald) Hartstock. Bill was a veteran of W.W. II, serving in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated the Dog House Restaurant, 17C, Owego and Dad’s Place, Monroe Street, Endicott. Bill was an antique car enthusiast, especially his 1929 Ford and enjoyed going to car shows in the summer.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 5 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-1513 East Main Street. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott, at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Wednesday from 3 pm until service time at 5 pm.
