William “Bill” Gasbarra

William R. Gasbarra of Endicott passed away at Wilson Memorial Hospital Sunday, August 12, 2018 on his 91st birthday. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Gasbarra; daughter, Ann Marie Horvath, brothers: Americo, Alberto and Armando Gasbarra. He is survived by his two daughters: Barbara (Alfred) Mazzei, Donna (Derek) Ciancio, son-in-law, Forrest Horvath, grandchildren: Nicole and Analee Ciancio and Evan Horvath, several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served in World War II, a plumber and pipefitter with Local 112, a past fire chief at West Endicott Fire Department, a member and past commander of the American Legion Post 1700.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endicott Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11 am. Reverend Clarence Rumble will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 9 until Mass time at 11 am. Burial will be at Riverhurst Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
