William “David” Jones

William David Jones, age 63, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2022, at his home in Johnson City, NY, after a brief struggle with pancreatic cancer.
David was predeceased by his father Jackie J. Jones and brother Phillip L. Jones. He is survived by his mother Sandra Jordan and many siblings: Frederick Jones (Donna), Jackie Jones (Tommy), Tyrone Jones (Tina), Tim Jones (Amy), Vicky Benarick, Gary Jones, Michael Jones, and Kristina Jones. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews.
David enjoyed walking in the mall, spending time with family, watching the city traffic, making others laugh and providing friends with comfort when they were down. He loved to worship and praise God. He was an active member of New Fellowship Church and attended Golden Days Adult Day Health Care. He also attended Blue Mountain School and Kingdom in the Valley Church (in Arizona) and was very active with the Special Olympics.
The family would like to thank the staff at Wilson Hospital, Dr. Sambidi, Lourdes Hospice, and all friends who loved and cared for him.
The family will receive friends at The New Fellowship Church, 1600 Tracy St. Endicott on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 11 am -1 pm. A memorial service will follow at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Golden Days Adult Health Care, 282 Riverside Drive, Johnson City and/or Blue Mountain Developmental Program, 13939 W. Grand Ave, Surprise, AZ.
