Aldo Ferraccioli, 84, of Endicott, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents Antonino and Maria; grandparents Cecelia and Domenico Cocco and in laws Sam and Vincy Rossi. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Libra (Rossi) Ferraccioli; daughter and son in law Karen and Robert Taluba (caretaker); a son and daughter in law Vincent and Deborah; brother and sister in law Crescenzo and Diane Ferraccioli; also several nieces; nephews; cousins and dear friends. He was a devoted member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, since 1948 and was a retired Endicott-Johnson Corp. employee and member of its 25 year club. Aldo was also a member of the Independent Mutual Aid Association and the North Side Senior. His pride and joy was his garden and sharing the “fruits” of his labor with family and friends. Some of his enjoyments in life were traveling, woodworking and going to casinos and a strong devotion to S. Padre Pio and Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
Funeral Services will be held Friday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Thursday evening from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church Food Pantry, 906 Jenkins Street, Endicott, NY 13760 or Union Volunteer Emergency Squad, 8 South Avenue B, Endwell, NY 13760. The independent Mutual Aid Association will meet at the memorial home Thursday at 7:45 pm.
