Met Alice in Jr. High at Vestal. Became good friends and then reconnected when she got ready to open her shop in Endwell. I did a lot of work for her there and in her house as we became even closer friends. She would never let me pay her for my haircuts, always bartering with me. It was very sad when she told me about her cancer. I couldn't make her service because I am in the hospital. She will forever be missed by me and all her other friends she met along the way. R.I.P. ALICE SPENCER !!!

Dear Marie - I am so sorry to learn you have lost your sister. Although I did not know her, I am sure our paths crossed one of the times I was at your home when we were teenagers. Alice had the remarkable Spencer blue eyes. My sincere condolences.

We got to know Alice through Legion Riders motorcycle activities and through years of hair styling where Dawn grew very close to her. She was so fun to be with and so caring. She will be greatly missed and we send our deepest sympathy to her family and friends. RIP

Always looked forward to seeing you. When you ran your fingers thru my hair or leaned over resting your arms on my shoulders, it gave me chills. Your smile picked me up and humor was always welcome. Best times Just getting a hairstyling by Alice. I will miss you and remember you always.

Alice was my hairstylist since the 1990's. She had an amazing zest for life. She would always pamper us when we were in her salons and she was so much fun to be around. She spoke with such love and joy about her family. Robert and Katie were always a beautiful topic of discussion from her as the proud Momma. My heart goes out to all of you as you do through this difficult time. Patty Barber

What a beautiful tribute to Alice. She was my Lucky 7 buddy. I will always remember sitting by the creek and catching up, talking about life. Lots of special camp memories! She had a way of making you feel so loved and special. I hope she felt the love right back. Rest in peace my friend.

My deepest condolences. I met Alice many years ago when our children dated for some time. She then became my hairdresser for many years. She was a caring listener when I was going through hard times. She made me laugh and hugged me when I cried. She always wanted me to tell her about when my daughter who used to say how much she loved the school bus and the school bus loved her because she wanted to start school in the worst way. Each time she would start laughing. Alice was a kind and loving person who will be missed and always remembered. Till we met again

I was at a family get together at my grandpa Stiners which was my mothers dad when I sat down at a picnic table and saw a girl I didn't know but knew I recognized her from my homeroom class that year which was 8th grade . And this meeting was the beginning of our forever friendship , partners in crime ( so to speak ) lol ,and now knowing most importantly we were family . That was the year that 2 children became teenagers and began a journey together that was the best summer and so many more years following . 50 years to be exact . I am remembering one good story after another , yes tears flow as I sit and think about them , the tears are sadness but they also flow with laughter , some I can't believe we did that , and some regret , but most and foremost THANK YOU,S . Even though Alice and I lost contact but not enough contact that when we saw each other it was hugs, reminiscing and a lot of laughs and unconditional lifetime LOVE .. I hope and want to believe that Alice loved me as much as I did her and if I had to make that assumption on how we were when we did see each other , she did . That summer of our 8th grade as I said was the best , well atleast out of my other 13 years of life .. So it began as teenagers meeting to becoming young ladies to making our future what they became to being to middle age to yes senior citizens. And still never lost or forgotten our life's journey we took together . I used to say all the time my family loves you more than me . And if facing reality they probably did , because she was just that easy to love. And I wouldn't of wanted it any other way . So I say goodbye to my life long friend with much sorrow in my heart . But want to believe that we will see each other and laugh telling our stories again . I'll see you later Ralice ..
