Anne (Nancy) Louise Green Stratton, age 91, of Endwell passed away peacefully on January 13, 2016 at Good Shepherd Village. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Edward L. Stratton; her parents, Marian and George Green and her brother, Rev. Msgr. Gerard L. Green. She is survived by her four children, Edward (Janice) Stratton of Newburgh, IN, Lee (Mary Beth) Stratton of Ashburn, VA, Jane (Lionel) Talbot of Endwell, NY, Mary (Rick) Turi of Fishkill, NY; 13 grandchildren, Meghan Stratton, Michael, Billy, Catherine, Tommy, Jimmy and Mary Stratton, Katie and Brian Talbot, Kristen, Michael, Steven and Kevin Turi; her brother, John Green (Marguerite) of LeRoy, NY; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Born on July 11, 1924 in Batavia, NY, she graduated from LeRoy High School in LeRoy, NY. She then earned a B.A. in Psychology from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. In 1944 she joined IBM Corporation in New York City where she enjoyed a systems management career for 10 years. Over the years, she and her family lived in Manhattan, New City, NY, Ridgewood, NJ and Endwell, NY. She and her family also maintained a summer residence in Milford, PA for many years. She was devoted to her family and children and volunteered in the Maine-Endwell School district, in Scouting, in the Cornell Alumni Association and in the Monday Afternoon Club. She also was an active member of Our Lady of Angels Parish/ Church of the Holy Family for more than 45 years. The family would like to thank the staff at Good Shepherd Health Center in Endwell for the exceptional and compassionate care they provided for our mother while she was a resident.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 12:15 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 pm at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Sunday from 4-6 pm.
