Annunziata (“Nancy”) Masi, 98, of Endicott, NY, died on Nov. 5th, 2023, at the Mercy House. Annunziata was born in Ceccano, Italy and moved to Endicott with her husband and children in 1969.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Giovanni (“John”) Masi; her parents, Edoardo and Antonia Carlini; her parents-in-law, Baldassare and Marianna Masi; her brother John (Nina) Carlini; her sister Maria (Constantino) Masi; her brothers-in-law, Remo Moretti, Sebastiano Masi, Angelo Masi, and Cesare Roma; and her sister-in-law Teresina Roma.
She is survived by her children, Antonio (Subhra) Masi, and Giacinta (Candido) Tiberia; her grandchildren, Daniela (Rick) Masters; Patrizia (Jason) Haus; Victoria Masi; Christina Kratky; and John Masi; her great grandchildren, Sabrina, Margot and Alexa Masters; Livia and Ella Haus; Mason Masi; and Gianna, Calvin and Marshall Kratky; her sister Angelina Moretti; and her sisters-in-law, Francesca (Mario) Arduini; Luigia Masi; and Stella Masi, all of whom she adored.
She was a devoted member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, and the Independent Mutual Aid Association, and she was retired from Endicott-Johnson.
Annunziata’s passions were cooking, crocheting, gardening, and spending time with her family and many beloved friends.
The family is deeply thankful for the kindness and care given to Annunziata by the staff of the Mercy House; the care and special prayers of Sister Anisia and Father Clarence; and for all of our friends and family who came to visit her.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 10th at St. Anthony’s of Padua Church, 306 Odell Ave, Endicott from 9:30 until 11:00am, funeral mass to follow.
Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott.
