Antoinette Picciano, 90, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2013. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 61 years, Louis N Picciano. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ann and Philip Anthony Cali, her wonderful grandchildren and their spouses, Philip Mark and Klara Cali, and Dorian and Christopher Simmons, and her precious great-grandchildren, Philip Thomas, Aneta, Francesca, and Alicia, her nieces and nephews and their spouses, and her in-laws of 45 years, Philip Charles and Connie Cali. Toni lived a contented and satisfying life from her childhood upbringing in the Bronx to her final home at the Hearth at Castle Gardens. She loved her job at General Motors and had a busy and stimulating life in retirement. Her family would like to thank the staffs of both Castle Gardens and Binghamton General Hospital for the care they gave to Toni and a very special thank-you to Dr. Adnan Mirza for her incredible concern and constant updates on Toni’s condition. Thanks also to all her friends at the Towers who made her final years such a joy.Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 4, 2013, at 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 207 Hayes Avenue, Endicott at 10 am. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 4-7 pm. Condolences may be sent to [email protected].
