Barbara “Barb” Peters

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal.” Barbara Elizabeth Peters, aka “Babse,” passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2024. She is survived by her brother, Chris Peters, her sister-in-law, Becky Peters, and her nieces, Shannon (Dwayne) Cleveland and Kortney Peters (Scott Reagan). She is also survived by her “Huggie,” Haleigh Cleveland, her nephew, Konnor Reagan, and her uncle and aunt, Edward and Delores Cunningham. Barb worked as a teacher aide for the UE school district. She loved her CFJ family and adored the children she worked with. Prior to this, she worked at the Allen Memorial Home. She will forever cherish the friendships and memories made with some amazing people. Barb loved going to the lake and playing Yahtzee. She was always ready for a good road trip, and enjoyed going to lunch with “her girls.”
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family per Barb’s wishes.
