Betsy J. Giannicchi, 57, of Endwell, passed away peacefully at home after a brief courageous battle with cancer with her loving family by her side, Thursday August 4, 2016. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Betty Steiner; a sister Barbara Yeager. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years Michael J. Giannicchi; three daughters Nicole (Jaime) Johnson; Kelly (Jason) Goodspeed and Kari Stoeckel; twelve grandchildren Ethen, Dillon, Casey, Noah, Skyler, Rocco, Eva, Brooklyn, Thor, Hailie, Dayton and Anna, one great grandchild Anastasia; a brother and sister in law Robert and Mary Ellen Steiner; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends Karen and Todd Marthens and Sheila Loftus. She was a former employee for over 30 years of Sheltered Workshop for the disabled and for five years of Southern Tier Independence Center (STIC) . Betsy enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time with her dog Molly, watching the Yankees but, most of all, she enjoyed her home, husband, children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services for Betsy will be held Wednesday 10 am at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Pastor Esther Terry of Calvary’s Love Church, Johnson City, officiating. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Tuesday from 4-7 pm.
