Betty L. Fowler, 91, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on September 21, 2018. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Grindel and son-in-law, David Grindel; her son Mark Fowler, and daughter-in-law, Barbara Behrmann. She is also survived by grandchildren, Yvonne (Greg) Kennedy, Chad Grindel, Ryan (Mikole) Grindel, Emily and Rachel Behrmann-Fowler; and great-grandchildren, Devon, Logan, and Kerrigan Kennedy, Hannah and Joseph Grindel, and Arwyn and Soleil Grindel. Betty was pre-deceased by Ray L. Fowler, her loving and devoted husband of 62 years. She was hard-working and devoted to her family, her home and her garden and was a longtime active member of the Union Center United Methodist Church.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 11 am at Union Center United Methodist Church, 128 Maple Drive, Endicott. Burial will be in Nanticoke Valley Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at church Wednesday from 10 am until service time at 11 am. A lunch reception will follow the service in the church hall. Memorial contributions can be made to the Building Fund at the Union Center United Methodist Church or to St. Jude’s Hospital.
