He was pre deceased on November 20, 2009 by Bea his wife of 66 years; parents Seth and Mary, several brothers and sisters, in laws, nieces and nephews, and family friends. He was born and raised in Arena, NY, he joined the Army at age 18, in October 1940, fourteen months prior to W.W.II. He married Bea while stationed in NYC, prior to serving in Europe as a Staff Sergeant during the war. He returned home and was discharged in 1945 and the family moved to this area. He was a resident of Endwell for over 60 years and a retired Teamster from Spaulding Bakeries, after 30 years of service. His legacy is one of hard work, perseverance, and generosity. To his “Ideal family” thanks for the outstanding care, friendship, and love the last few months from every Dr., Nurse, Aide, rehab, and all the supporting staff. Special thanks to Mario, Nidia, Kelli, Ray (food staff), Amber (housekeeping) and especially Shay with whom he bonded, relied on and cared deeply about. A thank you Dr. Suchet Patel, Nadine and all the EFP who helped his final few years to be the best they could be.
At his demand there will be no services. Burial will take place at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Although he did not personally suffer from Alzheimer’s, it did touch his life due to Bea’s illness, so donations in his memory may be to the Alzheimer’s Association at
