My deepest condolences to Christa’s family. Our families met when Christa and I were in elementary school. I believe our parents met bowling Sunday nights at the IBM Country Club and we began getting together as families. My memories are of us at (I believe) Martin Street(?) in Endicott. We would have a meal, our parents would play cards and the kids would ‘play’. Christa was a year older than me and so much fun (even though we went to rival schools, UE and Vestal). When we were (maybe?) teenagers, we vacationed at Camps Bay in Ontario Canada together a few summers. We lost touch, I believe her Dad, Chris, died when I was in school in Syracuse. Thanks to FaceBook we reconnected a few years ago, and it was so great to catch up. I have so enjoyed reading her posts about her children, grandchildren, steps, etc as I could relate! Hold your memories close and know she is watching over you with your Dad.

I was so sorry to hear of Christa passing. She was a source of genuine light in this world and in all of my memories of her she was a smiling, positive presence. We will miss her terribly.
