David Roth

David M. Roth, age 90, of Vestal, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016.  David was born on June 9, 1925, in Utica, N.Y. He was the son of Michael and Lena Roth.  He is survived by his wife Nellie Roth, three children (Wendy, Mark and Richard), six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and his sister Shirley Druckerman. David spent most of his adult life in the Tri-City area. He and his wife were the founders, owners and operators of Danel Bridal, Fine China & Jewelers, located on Washington Avenue in Endicott for 44 years. He was also a member of the Town of Union Business Development Corporation. He was a congregant of Temple Israel in Vestal, New York, where he was head of the Religious Committee. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved spending time with his family.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday 1 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, NY. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday from 12 pm until service time at 1 pm. The family will sit Shiva at the Roth home in Vestal, New York, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory can be made to the Building Fund of Temple Israel, 4737 Deerfield Place, Vestal, NY 13850.
