On March 19, 2021, David A. Sweppenheiser, 86, entered the Arms of His Loving Savior to live throughout eternity.
He was predeceased by his parents Roscoe and Marjorie Sweppenheiser, brothers Harry and Gordon, sister Evelyn, first wife Audrey Stein, and his son David R. Sweppenheiser.
He is survived by his most loving and caring wife Sylvia, daughters Sherry (David) McCarthy, Lori (Jerry) Harrison, and Kristi Owings. Grandchildren Craig Nettles, Kaitlyn (Gregory) Garner, and Christina (Thomas) Watts. Two beautiful Great Granddaughters Adele and Artic Rose Garner. A sister-in-law Mildred Sweppenheiser and several cousins.
His second family: Judy (Tom) Pass, Gary (Janet) Edwards, Sara Jo Kukowski, and Becky (Doug) Decker. Eight nieces and one nephew.
He graduated from Penn State, majoring in Business Administration, then working for IBM in the management field for 36 years. David was also a member of IBM Quarter Century Club.
A member of the Free Methodist Church in Nescopeck, PA, where he served as trustee and as the church treasurer, then for the last fourteen years was a member of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle where he was an usher.
David served in the U.S. Army Security Agency during the Korean Conflict.

Family and friends of David are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service for David, which will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, 729 Main Street, Vestal, NY beginning at ten-thirty in the morning. Followed by memorial service at noon then graveside service will be held at Vestal Park.
