Delores A. Putrino, 67 of Endicott passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020, after a courageous 2 ½ year battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary Putrino and a brother in law Tony Chetko.
Delores is survived by her sister Josephine Chetko, East Greenbush, NY; brother Anthony (Sue) Putrino, Endicott; boyfriend Dr. Ron Kane, Binghamton; nieces and nephews Anthony Putrino, Endicott, Kristi (Michael) Guyton, North Carolina, Andrea (Michael) Thomas, Endicott, Michael (Adrienne) Putrino, North Carolina; beloved great nieces and nephews Bryson, Luciano, Gianni, Mykalina Thomas, Endicott, Paige, Madison and Dante Putrino, North Carolina and Abigail and Isabella Putrino, Endicott.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott, a graduate of Union-Endicott High School, Class of ’70 and Triple Cities School of Beauty Culture . Delores owned and operated Hair Forum Beauty Salon for 45 years, and worked at Bonton as a part time sales associate for 30 years.
Delores’ life revolved around her family. Children were the love of her life, and was and will always be their “Lor Lor”. She took great pride in doing hair, making many dear friends thru the years, some becoming her extended family….she was one of a kind.
She made all of family holidays memorable from her infamous Christmas Village to making sure everyone got what they wanted. Her baking skills and homemade candy were unbelievable.
Delores’ favorite vacation was an annual family trip to Atlantic City, were she learned to love playing slot machines, thanks to her mom. There wasn’t a casino on the east coast she didn’t frequent with Doc Ron and even a trip to Las Vegas.
Delores was so thankful and grateful for all the love, support, visits and food from her family and friends, especially Sheila, Rita and Sue, and so many more who were there thru her journey.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday 11 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
