Dorothy R. Lillie, 91, of Vestal, died Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Ideal Senior Living Center. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Paul M. Lillie, brother and sister in law Harold and June Lacey, two brothers in law Roger Lillie and Pete Hover. She is survived by three daughters and sons in law Joan and Gary Knewasser, Vestal; Diane Whipple, Vestal; Janice and Ron Rockefeller, Surprise, AZ; five grandchildren and their spouses Mike Knewasser; Scott and Stephanie Knewasser; Jim Morris; Carrie and Jason McLaren; Wendy Stockman; nine great grandchildren two sisters in law Jean Lillie and Peggy Hover and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Vestal United Methodist Church, Vestal and a retired employee of the Vestal Central School District. She was an avid NY Yankee fan. Dorothy loved crafts, puzzles and playing Bingo. The family wishes to thank the staff of Daffodil Court for the loving care given to Dorothy and her family.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 1 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Vestal Park Cemetery, Vestal. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Saturday from 12 pm until service time at 1 pm. Expressions of sympathy in Dorothy’s memory may be made to Vestal United Methodist Church, 328 Main Street, Vestal, NY 13850.
