Dorothy Place

Dorothy E. Place, 101, of Endicott, went to be with her Lord from Wilson Memorial Hospital Friday, August 1, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur, a son and daughter in law, Robert and Joan Place, son in law James Rollo and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by one daughter Shirley C. Rollo, Endicott; seven grandchildren, James and Adriana, Reverend Kevin and Amy, Paul and Christina, Valerie, Roxanne and Larry, Danielle and Stepha’n, Kelli and Norm; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one sister Ruth Choquette, Quincy, MA; several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a member of St. Ambrose Church, Endicott and a retired employee of General Electric, Endicott-Johnson and IBM Corp.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ambrose Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Monday from 4-7 pm.
