Douglas Koban

Douglas R. Koban, 75 of Endicott went to be with his Lord Sunday, December 7, 2014. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth (Cyzuskas) Koban. He is survived by his four children and their spouses, Doug (Sherry) Koban, South Carolina, David (Kari) Koban, Florida, Joseph (Heidi) Koban, Endicott, Ann (Paul) Daniels, Endicott; eight grandchildren, Ryan Koban, Michelle and Danielle Koban, Morghan Walrich and Jackie and Ashley Daniels, Max and Justin; special friend Mary Stoeckel; one uncle Robert H. Lee, Binghamton. He was a member of St. Ambrose Church. Doug was a retired IBM Corp. employee, a member of it’s Quarter Century Club; a member of B.P.O.E. Lodge #1977, Endicott and a member of Knights of Columbus #189 4th Degree. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ambrose Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Friday from 4-7 pm. B.P.O.E Lodge # 1977 will conduct a Lodge of Sorrow Service Friday at 6:45 pm. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Doug’s memory may be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 3600 Phyllis Drive, Endwell, NY 13760.
