Edward G. Fauty, 82, of Endwell, NY passed away peacefully with his wife Dolores at his side at Mercy House of the Southern Tier on December 27, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dolores Fauty; his children and their spouses, Paul (Maria) Fauty, Katha Fauty and Scott (Maureen) Fauty; and was blessed with five grandchildren, Christopher, Alex, Aidan, Brendan and Mia. Ed earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn.  He began his career at Western Union in New York City.  In 1965, the family left Brooklyn, with Ed taking a job at IBM in Endicott, NY.  He would work at IBM in various roles, including Senior Systems Analyst, for 30 years.  After retiring from IBM, Ed took up a second career as a Certified Financial Planner, working at Lesko Financial Services until his retirement at 75 years of age.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday January 14 at 10 am at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell. The family will receive friends Friday January 13 from 3-5 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott.
