Edward Korba, 86 of Endicott, passed away at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Saturday, October 10, 2015. Edward Korba, 86 of Endicott, passed away at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Saturday, October 10, 2015. He was predeceased by parents Andrew, Jr. and Mary; brothers Peter; Nicholas; George and Andrew and sister Mary. He is survived by his wife Renee of 62 years, by his son Brent and daughter-in-law Kellieann Korba of Laurel, MD, three grandchildren Matthew; Stephanie and Michael; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Gerald and Vicky Faber of Barberton, OH and Julie Korba of Johnson City; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a retired General Electric Employee and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Air Force. Some of his affiliations included American Legion Post 1700, where he was a past Commander, Major Ray H. Humphrey, DSC VFW #1449 and the BPOE Elks Lodge #1977, Endicott. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 1 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, NY 13790.
