Edward Mason

Edward John Mason, 75, passed away peacefully amongst family February 25, 2014. He is survived by Bonnie Jean Mason, his wife of 46 years; his children, Michelle Monk (Bernie), Terri Slater (Rob Roberts), Marcia Brayboy (James), Rebecca Patterson, Jack Mason (Darla), and Shari Reed; nineteen grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Edward was an electrician by trade and member of the IBEW Local Union #325, and enjoyed several hobbies including operating amateur radios CALL K2QIE. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Ed served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Civil Air Patrol with his wife, who was also a Lieutenant Colonel. He and Bonnie were also avid rock hounds, later in life Edward and Bonnie enjoyed a life of traveling around the country in an RV. The family would like to say a special thanks to Jeannie. A celebration of Edward’s life will be held at a later date. Edward will be interred in a private family ceremony at Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
