Cindy and Wayne left a message on March 26, 2014:
Aunt Ann, Mike, Colleen, Nancy and families, Uncle Ed is an inspiration to all of us as a husband, a father, and an all-round gentle, Christian man. We admired his devotion to Aunt Ann, to you kids, to his grandkids, and to his entire extended family. Plus, he made a mean homemade wine! We love you all and pray for comfort. Love, Wayne and Cindy
Sharon Middendorf left a message on March 27, 2014:
My deepest sympathies on the loss of such a wonderful man. I have such fond memories of Uncle Ed and the great family reunions when the Minnesota gang would make the trek east and camp out at Uncle Ed's and Aunt Ann's. He had a great sense of humor and I'll never forget sitting in the hallway at the Ramada Inn in Rochester, MN with him reminiscing with the rest of the family after many hours of celebrating my mom and dad's 50th wedding anniversary.
