They loved Ed dearly. They have kept in touch, and they always made it a point to visit Ed when in our area. Ed served in the Navy during WWII. He retired from IBM after 24 years of service. He was an honorary board member of Square Deal Sportsmans, Inc. He always loved attending family dinners over the years, especially on special occasions and holidays. He kept a vegetable garden for many years which was his pride and joy. He loved working outdoors, especially cutting and splitting wood. He also cared for and loved numerous pets, especially his cat, “Muffy.” People who knew him will certainly recall that each time he answered the telephone, he would say, “how do!” which was one of his unique qualities. He will be greatly missed.
