I met Ethelyn many years ago on my walking errands to Binghamton. She and Katie were the highlight of my travels. We sent Christmas cards and notes over the years. I lost track of her shortly after she left Grand Blvd., but never forgot her, and asked around about her. A truly kind and beautiful person. I remember her telling me o remind my Grandmother that "Art Linkletter said 'Old age isn't for sissies'"! She also would talk to me about her chats with her children. I always thought she was an angel. To just randomly meet someone so lovely, and become good friends like that. ..What a blessing. I am forever grateful that she came into my life. May she rest in peace.
