Dear Michael, Aileen, James, john and families, Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. Your dad was a wonderful man that I always enjoyed. Even though it's been many years he will always hold a special place in my heart along with your precious mother. Loved them both very much as they were an important part of my growing up. Great memories for sure!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you all, Mary Hanlon and family

Uncle Gene was the quintessential man. A man of both my imposing physical and mental strength and stamina and integrity. He charmed both men and women. It was a joy to be around him. His enthusiasm for life never waned. I will miss our frequent phone calls where he entertained me with jokes, book reviews and political criticisms. A life truly well lived. He was very well loved.

Aileen, John, Michael and Jimmy, I'm so sorry. Uncle Gene will be so missed. He had one of the best laughs on the planet. I wish I could be there with you all this weekend, but medical issues of my own leave me unable to make the trip, and bring mom. Hope to see you folks in the not too distant future. Rochelle
