Evaline I. Gordon of Endicott, N.Y. passed away on July 8, 2017. She was born in Binghamton, NY on June 2, 1923, to David and Ina LaDue, being the oldest of eight children. She grew up in Endicott, NY where she met and married her husband, Thomas W. Gordon in October 1945. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas in 2006. Also predeceased are her brothers; Mervin, James LaDue and sisters; Arlene David and Carol French. Evaline is survived by her son and daughter in law, Skip and Diane Gordon of Endicott; her grandson, Duane (Carrie) Gordon of Cicerco, NY and her great grandchildren Chloe and TR Gordon. Also surviving are her brothers; David and Carl LaDue; her sister, Velma Boyer, sister in law, Linda LaDue and several nieces and nephews. Evaline worked in EJ, GAF, and IBM Corporation(s) over the years retiring to what she enjoyed most; her flower garden, music and entertaining family and friends during the holidays. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Sanjiv Patel of Lourdes Primary Practice in Vestal for his care of Evaline over the years.
Viewing will be held at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 11-12 pm followed by services at 12 pm with Pastor Mark Kimpland presiding. Interment will be at Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Vestal, following the service.
