My heart goes out to the family. I am the son of Joesph Magee and grandson of Leo Magee. All though I was very young, I do remember visiting Francis and him being so nice and always happy to see me. We will all be together with our Loved ones in the end.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of such a wonderful man. I first met Fran as a neighbor on Dudley Ave and followed his success with the drug store from day one. Fran was a wonderful neighbor, friend, and just a wonderful person, always a smile and a chuckle. He will be sadly missed.

I remember your dad with greatest fondness, having known him since childhood as our pharmacist at The Corner Drug Store. He was so kind and so patient, and he took such very tender care of both my parents, Ann & Alex Alexander. It took years for my mother's illness to be diagnosed, and Fran was always there for her, compassionately listening & supportive. He showed the same care & patience for my dad as well. I always was sure to stop by the pharmacy whenever I was in town, & Fran always took the time to come out from behind his work space to chat & catch up, showing the same kindness and interest in me and my family. He will be missed and always fondly remembered.
