Worked with Hershey at Lockheed Martin. Hershey was a true gentle man and always had a calm demeanor. When I had the opportunity to work with Hershey, it was always a joy and Hershey got things done. Hershey had a way for watching your back and respected by everyone. RIP Hershey and thanks for the times spent together.??? Gary Rocco

To Hershey's family and friends - I was so saddened to hear of his passing. I worked with Hershey for many years at IBM/Lockheed. He was a great leader, friend and mentor. If not for Hershey, I may not have entered into management - he afforded me that opportunity and mentored me for several years. He was a wonderful, caring person and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To Hershey's family and close friends, I offer you my sincere condolence. I had the experience of working with Hershey for many years in Owego. For the 15 years that we worked together I observed Hershey assuming a variety of management responsibility .His leadership's style was one of Listen, Research ,and then make critical decisions. As an employee for IBM and Lockheed Martin he was an outstanding leader , humble worker, and excellent contributor to the success of his employees and both IBM and Lockheed. It was an honor for me to have worked with Hershey.

I am so sorry for the loss of this good man. I enjoyed working for him and with him at Lockheed. I also enjoyed knowing him personally having performed at the FTCC spring and fall concerts several times. Hershey was a super guy and will be missed. My heart breaks knowing he has passed yet my spirit revels in knowing he’s home with our Lord and Savior. “That day which we fear is our last is but the birthday of eternity.” RIP my friend. Prayer for peace and comfort for all his family and friends.

My condolences to the family, I worked with Hershey in Owego; he was not only a dedicated worker but a gentlemen and a fond friend to all his co-workers. His passing is much too soon but he leaves many happy memories to all of us who had the pleasure to work with him.
