One of my first memories of Jane is when I was in second grade, sledding on the "big hill" by the apartments behind our houses. I tried to be daring and went headfirst...into the brick building. I looked at Ann Marie and she screamed and said "Go to your Mom!" and next thing I knew, Jane was running toward me, boots flapping, scooped me up and carried me home. (I ended up with 21 stitches that day). Jane was like a guardian angel, watching over us and ready to help. This is just one of many stories of how she's helped others. May she be abundantly rewarded and rest in eternal peace and joy. And may you have God's peace and consolation.

My prayers and thoughts to Jack and all the beautiful family Jane touched. I met Jane as she volunteered at Sacred Heart Community Clinic and St William Catholic Church in Round Rock, Texas. What a wonderful woman and nurse she was. She always voiced her love of Jack and her family. May her faithfully departed soul now rest in eternal peace.

We met Jane probably around 2010 at our Church because she and Jack came to help us out with the Baptism class ministry. Even though she worked full time, taught a 4th grade Religious Ed class, she and Jack would always show up Saturday mornings to help with whatever was needed. I enjoyed very much going out to lunch afterwards and visiting with her. Jane was a wonderful, smart, generous, good hearted and lovely friend. We will miss you Jane! Ross and Cindi Messner

Jane was my hero and mentor. I met her when I was 20, being her neighbor on both sides of my home. Our kids grew up together and we watched them together with much laughter & joy. She taught me by her example , to be myself, & understand Gods plan for each of us. Her philosophy was “if you want something done, do it yourself!” is something I used all my life. She always thought of everyone’s need first while working full time, caring for even more in her warm and loving ways. I have so many memories that are all happiness when I think of them.. God blessed me ( & everyone) with Jane, & her amazing love for us all! She’s high on the pedestal that I always had her on, now from heaven. Sending love and peace to all of you.

With heartfelt sincere condolences to our dear friend Jack and all Jane’s family, we keep Jane ever close in our heart. How we recall her beautiful smile, generous heart, her ability to make us feel welcomed and her hospitality and sweet kindness. We surely miss our gatherings and the good humor she always brought to our visits and our group of friends. Her Catholic faith was an inspiring example and even as she worked full time (when she surely could have retired), she volunteered and helped where she could. What a beautiful team she and Jack always made. We will miss you, Jane, but know your faith prepared you for eternal life with the Lord and knowing you rest in His arms is comforting. You will always be our forever friend. Many prayers continue for her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed. Let perpetual light shine upon sweet Jane, Lord and keep her close.

We will miss Janie. She and Jack are dear friends. We served on many teams and committees at St Williams together. Janie and Jack prepared many children at St Williams to receive Our Lord in the Eucharist. Janie and Jack were not only dear friends. They were also our “cruising Buddies”. One year, we went on three cruises together. Janie was fun to be with. She was great to talk to, very intelligent, and most generous to the church and to those in need. She loved Our Lord and was always in service to Him bringing the Eucharist to the sick and home bound. Brenda and Janie had a special way of saying goodbye. One would say “I love you to the moon and back.” The other always replied, “I love you more!” So we say, until we meet again, “We love you to the moon and back”. Jack, we love you! You always took the greatest care of Janie. Your love and devotion never waivered. Our prayers are for you both. Brenda & Louie Pekar
