I was fortunate enough to meet John through Lowe’s and even after I left would still see him whenever we stopped into Home Central or when he dropped into the brewery with his family. He was truly one of the kindest people I know. My thoughts are with his family during this most difficult loss.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to John's family and friends. John was my manager at Lowes many years ago. He was always so kind and fun to be around - just an all around great man. I occasionally ran into him at the liquor store when I was in the area and always enjoyed catching up with him. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to John's family and loved ones. John was my friend and mentor. He never let me down and I did my best by him. He taught me a lot and we built an amazing team together that we were proud of. John was always a positive force with a great story, lesson or joke that made difficult work much more bearable. Thank you John for teaching me so much and for all the laughter. Rest in peace. With sympathy and gratitude, Jeran Conser

Lisa, Danielle, Ashley & all of the Legge family, we are so extremely sorry. It is difficult to believe John has passed, especially since he fought so hard. Please know we are thinking of you all and will keep you all in our prayers. John was an incredibly nice person who always had a smile on his face. We will miss his hugs, and his contagious laugh. It will be difficult to make garlic knots, as we will think of John. We will miss him tremendously and are extremely grateful to have been friends with him. We will hold onto the many good times! Back in the day we used to say this toast: friends may come and friends may go, and friends may peter out, you know, but I (we) will be your friend through thick and thin, peter out or peter in. We are raising our glasses to you John. With much love, Mike and Kathy
