To Joe’s family and friends please accept my sincere condolences at this difficult time. I had the distinct pleasure working with Joe at IBM. He was a positive influence on me as I started my career there. He was my mentor and friend. He was respected and called upon to figure out the many challenges, that an industrial site the size of IBM in those days, could throw at our department. He took me under his wing and I will be forever grateful for passing his wisdom and work ethic down to me. It truly helped me to be successful in my life. I can remember the many times he stopped at my apartment when I had car trouble to help me out. One time he even braved a snow storm to show up at my place up by the Broome county airport to pull my tractor out of the ditch that I had got stuck while plowing snow. He was “one of a kind” and will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace my friend. Until we meet again!!!! God Bless your soul. Mark Bohunicky Naples Fl.
