Joe, I wish I could have been there for your final goodbye but I know with your work ethic that you'd understand. You were such a sweet caring, honest young man who would do anything for anyone. From my first day as cook at JGJ you welcomed me and started calling me mom, which was an honor. You made me smile every shift and even would go above and beyond to help with things that weren't even your responsibility. I'm struggling with accepting that you're not here to brighten peoples lives with your smile or infectious laugh. Gone to soon. My sincere condolences to the Parrillo family, cherish all the good memories and he'll always be with you.

My sincere condolences to Joe's Family and Friends, Any person who is willing to be an organ donor is very special, indeed. That consideration speaks volumes of what a kind, loving and thoughtful person Joe was, to give to others a part of oneself so that they may live is a blessed treasure. Bless You All

I am so sorry for your loss. I was Joe’s 8th grade science teacher and I often think about him with fond memories. He was a great kid with incredible character, even as a middle schooler. I enjoyed talking to him about the Red Sox and I still have on my desk a commemorative Red Sox ball that he gave me.
