Lauren was a a partner to me and many classroom teachers at the Charles F. Johnson Elementary School, helping children improve their reading skills. She was truly a dedicated teacher. She was a wonderful colleague with a fantastic sense of humor. After her retirement, she continued to voluntarily help children with the same seriousness and dedication. I’m sorry to hear of her passing.

Lauren became a new friend to me through another dear friend several years ago. During that time we spent some great shopping trips and lunches together. We also spent several days together at our friend’s cottage. During those four days, we laughed, ate, talked and crafted. Especially, we all loved to eat Dots candy! She was so fun to be with! So kind and caring with a great faith in God. Her children were everything to her, as well as her Grandson, Ethan. I wish her family strength and peace during this difficult time. I feel privileged to have called her friend. I will never forget those beautiful eyes and smile. Rest in peace dear Lauren, until we meet again.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Dear Kristen, Kevin, Amber & Ethan : My sincere condolences. I am sorry I won’t see her to tell her our friendship was very important to me. I’ll miss our shopping with Linda at Pips, cottage time & shopping at the Windmill, our lunches at Nick’s sharing a peppers & egg sub, sharing a cup of tea & laughing & talking, your beautiful smile, your kindness & faith. I felt your touch on my arm & I know you were letting me know you’re ok I will continue to pray for you & to you. Help us dear Lauren as we all mourn your loss 💕

Kevin, Kristen and family. My deepest sympathy on your loss. Your mom and I connected through daycare and kindergarten pick-ups and drop offs and remained friends over the years. She truly was a special person. Keeping you all in our prayers.

Lauren and I worked together, and I have many fond memories of her! One of my favorite memories is of her and her daughter Kristen, tutoring my son in reading during the summer of his first-grade year. He loved them both and always looked forward to his tutoring sessions as Lauren and Kristen were as excited about him learning to read as he was! I would like to send Blessings and condolences to Lauren's entire family, she is SMILING down upon you all and she will be dearly missed and remembered with love!
