I cannot express the sadness I feel over the passing of Lisa. She was a beautiful soul, highly intelligent, hyper organized individual who expressed deep passion and dedication for all that she did. I cannot bare the thought of entering the "fish bowl" knowing that she wont be there to greet me. My heart is broken. I pray that God has wrapped Lisa in His arms and can provide comfort to the family and friends of this beautiful human. God bless.

Lisa and I had a special bond due to our mutual love of rabbits and our support for the underdog. We joked we were soul-sisters. Lisa was such a special person and fierce advocate for rabbits, and the marginalized. I’ll miss our chats. Binky free, my friend. My sincerest condolences to your family. I’ll always remember you with love.
Ann Merriwether left a message on May 14, 2021:
Dearest Lisa, I remember the first day I met you in Human Development 200 you were quiet but you were so focused in class. Soon you appeared in office hours and we had so many long conversations about your funeral work and social justice. Next you appeared in my Women's Bodies class. I kept your proposal for your paper in that class. You were a social justice warrior then and still. Last week you sent me a paper on body shame, you did that so often, you would send me something you found that you thought I would like, Often I used the things you found in class. I will miss your creativity. Most of all I will miss seeing you with your beloved bunnies. I will hold space in my heart for you forever.
