Lucille Montgomery

It is with great sadness that the family of Lucille Burdick Montgomery announces her passing away after a brief illness on September 1, 2018. She will be missed and mourned by her daughters Donna Dranchak , and JoAnn Aiello (Tom), her grandchildren, Kathy and Holly Aiello, Derek Dranchak, and Devon Nealy (Jeremy), and will be lovingly remembered by her great granddaughters Lucy, Elise, and Maggie as well as her surviving sibling Walton Burdick (Mary). She was predeceased by her husband Edward Montgomery, and a companion Bruce Watson, her parents Everett and Alta Burdick, her sister’s Margaret, Harriet, and Eloise, and her son-in-law Dennis Dranchak. Lucille was born on her family’s farm in Uniondale, Pennsylvania, where she grew to love gardening and flowers. She was quite a tomboy learning to drive the family tractor. She loved music and singing, becoming a member of several local choruses She resided in Endwell, New York and looked forward to wintering in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
At Lucille’s request there will be no calling hours.
A private family burial will be held in Uniondale, PA. on Friday. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in her name.
