Marjorie M. (Reardon) Shaughnessy, 87, of Endicott, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2014, after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mary Reardon, a brother Bill Reardon and a sister, Joyce England. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Paul J. Shaughnessy, and their four children: Sally (Tim) Comfort, Jane (Jerry) Hlopko, Patricia (Marty) Szymanski and John Shaughnessy. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Sarah, Ryan, Andrea, Nolan, Shaughna, Daniel, and Colin, whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Reardon and two sisters-in-law Helen Fitzgerald and Anna Shaughnessy, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a life-long member of Saint Ambrose Church, Endicott, The family would like to thank Dr. John Bertini and staff as well as everyone at UHS South Tower 3 for the compassionate care and kindness shown to our wife, mother and grandmother.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ambrose Church, Endicott at 10 am. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday from 4-7 pm.
