Elaine Pierson left a message on February 14, 2019:
My mother , Geraldine Fitzgerald Pierson, was a lifelong friend to Mary Ruth and I met Mary Ruth on several occasions when they met for lunches at Tall Pines in Friendsville. She was a warm, friendly and vibrant woman who you could not help but love. I heard several stories about the Coleman store and various antics my mom and her got into. Her husband, Eddie, is buried very close to my mom's parents and brother in the Friendsville cemetery and I always visit him when I go there. I know how happy she is to be reunited with him and I will now visit with both of them when in Friendsville. She led a wonderful life dedicated to God and her family and I know the many memories she created will help you cope with her loss. Take care and know that I am thinking of you. Rest in peace my friend, MaryRuth.

I'm sorry for your loss. Mary was a caring woman who loved God, her friends and family. After talking with Mary I always felt better about the world and myself. She just had that gift of thinking about others first. And she loved sharing about her family! You must miss her, but have so many wonderful memories! My prayers are with you.
